RoutineOur day starts with a morning discussion and warm-up. Then, campers join their respective group. The "rookies" include all 4 and 6 year olds. The intermediates include all 7 and 9 year olds and the veterans include all 10 to 13 year olds. Warm-ups consist of light running, stretching and throwing exercises. After warm-ups, we conduct our "square drill" of the day. This drill differs from day to day and includes base running, pitching, catching, infield-outfield play and batting practice. After square drill, it’s game time. While drills are great for improving reflexes, stamina and discipline, nothing is better (or more fun) for a players development than structured game action. Game time includes a daily double header. Extra batting practice and pitching lessons are given upon request.
